Cost of Services

Protecting and restoring your mental health is one of the most important investments you can make.

Mental wellness impacts every area of life—from your relationships and daily functioning to your ability to perform at your fullest potential.

When mental health concerns go untreated, they can affect productivity, focus, energy, and overall physical health.

With the right support, treatment can improve your quality of life, strengthen relationships, and help you create lasting emotional and physical well-being.

Therapy is a meaningful investment in your mental and emotional well-being. At STT, session rates vary based on your therapist and the length of each session. We believe quality care should be accessible, which is why we strive to offer competitive and transparent rates.

STT is in-network with select insurance plans, including certain Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, and Blue Cross Blue Shield plans. Coverage can vary based on your specific policy, so we encourage you to verify your mental health benefits directly with your insurance provider.

For clients using out-of-network benefits, we can provide a monthly receipt, known as a superbill, that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement based on your plan benefits.

Many clients also choose private pay for mental health services because it offers added flexibility and privacy. Private pay allows you to choose the therapist who best fits your needs, avoid insurance-required diagnoses, maintain greater confidentiality, and schedule sessions based on your goals—not insurance limitations.

Good Faith Estimates

The No Surprises Act & Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.  All this information will be reviewed with you during the consultation and at the beginning of the initial session. Because of the variable nature of therapy work, we cannot provide an estimated length of service, and each client should consult with their therapist about the details of their treatment. The estimates we provide are based on an assumption of a year’s worth of treatment. You have the right to terminate services when you choose.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

  • Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

  • Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059.
